CONSERVATION AND NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY
“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.”
- Haida Indian Saying
As a nature photographer, I'm concerned about the environment and the drastic changes I have seen in my lifetime. It looks like our children will not be able to
enjoy all the natural wonders we have today.   Many of the natural wonders we take for granted today may not even be around when our grandchildren are old enough to enjoy them.
Our first trip to the Canadian Rockies
brought this home when we saw how much the glaciers had receeded in the recent years. Closer to home, the Great Smoky Mountains are being impacted by
poor air quality. It's rare when you can catch a clear day without the haze.
Many of our trips are to national parks. The budget cuts over the past several years have had a dramatic impact on the US National Park Service and the quality of our
parks and park facilities.
We financially support a couple different organizations that are involved in the parks and conservation.
Here are some groups that are involved with Conservation and Nature Photography
