As the sun came up it spot lighted this colorful bank on the shore of Patrick Henry Lake in Warriors Path State Park in Kingsport Tennessee.  You can see the moon as it is setting over the trees.

Middle Prong of the Little River
This was taken in April when the Dogwoods were blooming but the leaves on the trees had not come in yet.  This allows you to see the many
Dogwood trees in the Smoky Mountain woods.

The wheel on the Cable Mill in Cades Cove, Smoky Mountains National Park.  When this was taken the wheel was stopped allowing a sharp picture of the wheel
while bluring the water.

Looking Glass Falls
Located in Western North Carolina near Brevard, the falls get their name from Looking Glass Rock, where water freezes on its sides in the winter and then glistens in the sunlight like a mirror or looking glass.  Note the fly fisherman at the base of the falls.

Trapped Leaf
These leaves were trapped against a rock just above Burgess Falls in Middle Tennessee.   The water level was down enough that it allowed us to walk out to get this shot.

Ramsey Cascades
This is one of the few black and white photos on my site.  Ramsey Cascades is a nice hike that follows the river for several miles in the Smoky Mountains.  The rocks are naturally black and dark against the white water.
