A herd of wild ponies live on the balds in Grayson Highlands State Park in Southwest Virginia. They are not very wild, spending most of their time eating and ignoring the photographers.

We have a single feeder in our yard and this one Ruby-throated Hummingbird tends to control it.

Gold Finch
Off one of the trails in the Shaker Village in Kentucky sits a bird blind. We were able to sit inside and watch the wild birds. It was a special treat.

This little guy lives at Bays Mountain Park in Kingsport Tennessee. A trainer hand him out of his cage when I walked by. Note the reflections of trees in his eyes and
the details in the feathers.
